| CODESRIA/SEPHIS
Programme |
CODESRIA’s Research and Documentation Department has
entertained and developed for several years a fruitful collaboration with
SEPHIS (South-South Exchange Program for
Research on the History of Development). The essential objective of this
partnership is to facilitate a dynamic dialogue and cooperation between social
sciences researchers and academics of Latin and Central America, South Asia, the
Caribbean and Africa. The aim of this partnership is to promote research on
history of development in Southern countries, and offer a more comparative and
long-term approach of these societies. This cooperation also meshes neatly with
CODESRIA’s effort to engage more fully with the international scientific
community, that of the South in particular.
