Biennale 2003
The WGFE commissioned three studies
on the financial management of education in a decentralized
setting for the ADEA 2003 Biennale in Mauritius which topic was:
The quality of Education in Africa. Through a critical
assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of the three
countries’ experiences in decentralization and devolution, the
studies attempt to establish the link between the quality of
education and decentralization and deconcentration. A synthesis
paper is presented by the Coordinator of the WGFE.
