For the 13th CODESRIA General Assembly, around a thousand abstract proposals has been received. After a first selection step, approximately six hundred (600) abstracts were screened and their authors were asked to send the full version of their proposed paper. The selection committee finally select around three hundred (300) papers both for logistical reasons (organization of the program, available space, etc.) and for financial reasons, CODESRIA covering all expenses of the selected papers’ authors from their trip to Rabat, their accommodation, their restoration, their conference fees to their participation in social events (welcome cocktail, cultural evening, closing night, etc.)..
All abstracts and papers will be posted on the website as well as the list of participants to the 13th CODESRIA General Assembly when it will be finalized. This list which will encompassed names of participants who effectively attended the 13th CODESRIA General Assembly will not mentioning personal data (address, phone number, email address, etc.).
We ask to participants who want to submit their papers for publication by CODESRIA, to strictly comply with the Guide to authors to facilitate the editing/formatting process. These guidelines must be strictly adhered to or the paper will be rejected.

The CODESRIA General Assembly will also welcome distinguished keynotes speakers such as Professors Amadou Mahtar Mbow, Souleymane Bachir Diagne, Jomo Kwame Sundaram, Thandika Mkandawire, Sam Moyo and Jayati Ghosh.
